The Next Steps course explores a wider range of sources - trade directories; records of pauper ancestors; tracing black sheep and elusive ancestors such as 'unknown' fathers of illegitimate children. Next steps also includes a visit to a local archive. Please note that basic computer skills are an advantage as the courses include use of Internet resources and software to organise and display your findings. |
